Private:YoungSaeng and Zhou Mi; Jungmin later
YoungSaeng walked through the gardens, as he did every day, his little patch of tiger lilies his destination. Once he arrived, he slowly sat down on the ground before laying down, one arm supporting his head while his other hand gently traced the flower, yet not quite touching, since his hand would only pass through the flower.
He sighed. When he was alone, he no longer held up a strong front for Jungmin. It was painful knowing that he was unable to feel anything for more than a couple hours, or when he would randomly allow himself to. Most painful of all was not being able to be with Jungmin.
They had made it through another year, this being as hard as the last. He was so grateful to have Jungmin in his life to keep him sane.

Today was sunny, and his wings (mind of their own) half unfurled to take in the warmth. He caught sight of the ghost - hadn't she said his name was YoungSaeng? a mouthful, even by Korean standards - and slowed, watching him.
He looked... wistful. Wishful. Sad.
"How are you today?" he asked quietly, small smile forming.
Sitting up, he smiled warmly at Mi. "I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression when we met."
"Wrong impression?" he asked.
He sat down, crosslegged, wings still half spread to catch the sun.
It wasn't exactly right, but it was the best he could do, without knowing the language better.
He leaned back on his hands, his wings spreading farther to accommodate him.
Thinking of Jungmin always brought the most heartfelt and loving smile to his face, even if it hurts at times knowing that they can't be like a normal couple anymore.
That didn't exactly... connect. Somehow. On the other hand, he hadn't seen a lot of people around, so it didn't surprise him there were people he didn't know, but this seemed... kind of important?
He suddenly smiled, wide, and relaxed. His wings folded neatly on his back, comfortable and warm. "No, it does not bother me at all."
Odd. How... horrible. It seemed so unfair. "How long have you been together?"
He smiled softly. I met him when I was 15. He and his brother were hitmen for hire, and I kinda caught Min at a bad time, making him project. He freaked out and I helped him. A few days after I turned 16, his brother, who's psycho, basically tried to kill me. Min showed up and saved my life. He was so caught up that he just kissed me, and we've been together ever since, so about four years."
Four years. Two of them apart like this.
"That's... very odd," he stammered. "Is his brother still around?"
He paused. "Min's been hunting him for the last two years, which is when his brother succeeded when he killed me. Luckily I was able to ground myself to this plane."
The fire demon was in a good mood, the small mission having gone well, and he couldn't wait to see his boyfriend.
Stepping out into the gardens, JungMin looked towards the patch of tiger lilies, and sure enough he could see the outline of his boyfriend there. Along with... An angel? JungMin blinked for a moment, not recognizing the man talking with Saeng, but then shrugged it off and walked quickly towards them.
"Saengie~!" He attempted to tackle the spirit, but as expected only went through him, landing on the grass beside him with an "oof!"
The rest... he filed away until later - or never. He didn't want to make either of these two more unhappy than they were. Not that they looked it, right now....
"Hey," he greeted with a grin. "I don't think I've seen you around before."
"Better, Min?" He kissed the man before turning back to Mi. "Zhou Mi, this is Park Jungmin. Min, Zhou Mi."
"You're Chinese?" he questioned, noting the Chinese name and the accent. "That's cool! I want to learn Mandarin one day. There's only two things I know how to say," he said, pouting. "Ni hao, of course. And..." He rested his head against Saengs. "Wo ai ni!" he remarked cheerfully, hugging his boyfriend tighter.
It slipped out. Really.
He could easily recall the times she called Jungmin a bad influence when YoungSaeng would begin to swear more frequently since he was such a 'good and innocent child'.
Then he blinked, grinning. "Ayumi-chan?" He echoed, remembering what YoungSaeng had told him a while ago about playing matchmaker. He nudged his boyfriend questioningly, wanting to know if this was the same person he'd been talking about earlier. He couldn't remember the specifics of the conversation.
Then he flushed slightly. "Yes. That... is the proper term, I think? I know very little of Japanese...."
"What were you guys talking about?" he questioned, blinking at Saeng and resting his chin on the others shoulder.
