Private: Yunho and Yoochun
Will add tags as they become necessary
Yunho slid out of his shirt and tossed it into the hamper of dirty clothes. He unbuckled the harness carefully and eased it off, hanging it neatly in the closet. With his wings free of their restraints he stretched them as far as he could get them and sighed softly in relief. It was wonderful to have them free again even if he was used to having them trapped against his back most of the day.
He walked into the room containing his alter, planning to pray before he settled in to relax for the night and eventually sleep. He knelt in front of the alter, closed his eyes and placed his hands, palms together, a few inches from his face. He cleared his mind and focused on the prayer.

Private:YoungSaeng and Zhou Mi; Jungmin later
YoungSaeng walked through the gardens, as he did every day, his little patch of tiger lilies his destination. Once he arrived, he slowly sat down on the ground before laying down, one arm supporting his head while his other hand gently traced the flower, yet not quite touching, since his hand would only pass through the flower.
He sighed. When he was alone, he no longer held up a strong front for Jungmin. It was painful knowing that he was unable to feel anything for more than a couple hours, or when he would randomly allow himself to. Most painful of all was not being able to be with Jungmin.
They had made it through another year, this being as hard as the last. He was so grateful to have Jungmin in his life to keep him sane.

Private: JungMin and YoungSaeng
That night was never far from JungMin's mind, not really. It was always on the edge of his thoughts, not quite there but not out of sight either. He avoided thinking about it during the day, focusing on the moment. But what he hide from during the day wove its way into his dreams at night.
Tossing and turning more than normal, the demon drew in a shaky breath, eyes tightly shut. His blanket had been kicked off long ago, and the pillow soon to follow it if the way he pulled at it was any indication. The nightmares came always, even more so at this time of year. At least there was no fire this time; last year he'd nearly torched their entire room in his sleep.
Suddenly the man's eyes snapped open, sitting up so fast he gave himself vertigo. Panting hard, JungMin looked around the room wildly. "Saeng?" He called in a panic.
The image of YoungSaeng lying motionless on the ground was burned in the back of his eyes, there every time he blinked. But this time, in his dream, YoungSaeng hadn't come back. He hadn't returned as a spirit, and JungMin hadn't been able to reach his boyfriend's body, an invisible barrier stopping him from getting close. He had had to watch the light fade from those eyes, and then Saeng was gone.
"YoungSaeng?" he called again, hands shaking as he pushed off the blankets trapping his feet, looking around through a mess of tousled hair. He wasn't gone, was he?

Ayumi and Zhou Mi - Private
(note: Ayumi is in the form of a golden lab...)
Ayumi struggled to get back to her headquarters, still in canine form. She'd gone out earlier that morning on a mission to see if she could get some information about a meeting but had been caught somehow. The man had been vicious, grabbing the collar around her neck and nearly choking her to death, an evil smirk on his face.
"I know it's you, bitch," he'd snarled at her before dropping her to the ground and kicking her violently in the ribs. As she lay unmoving on the floor, trying to catch her breath, he'd pulled out a knife and stabbed her with it. She'd only just been able to move so that the knife caught her in the back, but it still went deep, a sharp yelp escaping her.
Somehow she managed to get away from the man, running at first on a burst of adrenaline, then staggering the closer she got to her compound. The pain was starting to overwhelm her and her vision was going in and out as she began to lose consciousness.
Suddenly she heard a familiar voice and cursed internally. Of all people to find her, why did it have to be him?

Ayumi and YoungSaeng (and Jungmin + jealous!Mimi *giggles* later) - Private
Ayumi went out into the gardens, the clouds obscuring the sun and making her somewhat depressed. This wasn't a great time of year for the gang's activities; every weirdo with mental issues, as well as those other races with issues of their own stepped up their activities around this time of year as it grew closer to the occasion the Westerners had called Halloween. While the family-oriented traditions were long since gone, the more seedier aspects of the occasion had lingered on in the near-constant incidents and deaths that occurred around this time.
A little concerned about the amount of pent-up energy Jungmin had stored up, she'd sent him on a mission that would hopefully use up some (or a lot, she hoped) of that energy so he would calm down some. In some ways, he was almost as tiring to deal with as the KiHae pair who she was starting to despair of. Despite her warnings, they were still incredibly close, though things had improved since Donghae had gained considerable control over his power.
But that wasn't why she was out in the gardens, tempted to use a little of her own power to make the sun come out just so she could have a bit of sunshine.
"YoungSaeng?" she called softly, stopping to bend over a rose that was starting to shed its pale silver-tipped pink petals and sniff at the fading scent. It made her sad that the roses she loved so much were going to die, to be replaced the next spring with fragrant new blossoms.
"I need to talk to you....about Jungmin..." she added after a few moments.

PUBLIC: Kim Yehsung & Anyone/Everyone
Yehsung was back in the park again. It wasn't anything unusual; he was forever coming to Damjaengi Park nowadays.
It was early autumn already, and the leaves were starting to become their characteristic fall colours, reds, oranges, and yellows of children's Crayola crayons. School had already started for the aforementioned children.
He picked another leaf up to his eyes, relaxing for a bit. He shouldn't have let down his walls but he did anyway, and soon he was reminded why he should keep every brick in place at all times. The frustrated emotions of hurried and haggard people easily overtook whatever relaxation he had been trying to achieve, and with an effort he pushed them out and locked his mind to them again.
Cursing underneath his breath in irritation, he threw the leaf to the breeze, not satisfied at all even when the leaf burst into a red bloom of fire and black ashes that fell into the water underneath the bridge. With an hard sigh of exasperation, he fell to the edge of the bridge, his legs dangling over the stream below and fingers curling around the posts of the railing.
This was exactly why he disliked cities so much; too many rushing people, too many worried emotions, too much ugly emotions in the steel and glass skyward structures.

Private-Yoochun, Geng, Yunho
Yoochun sighed, relaxing for the first time in a while. His Sire had released him for the day due to good behavior. It was more or less surprising, but he wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth. The moment he was released, he was out the door.
Pulling out his cell, he texted the first and only important name in his list. Yoochun smirked when Yunho agreed to meet him in the park that he found so calming. Looking around, he was relieved that there were very few people around, much like the last time they were together in this exact spot.
"...God, I'm a sap. I mean, what the fucking hell is up with me?" he muttered to himself as he leaned against a certain tree. He was clearly in over his head, but for the life of him, he couldn't understand why he was so okay with that fact.

Private - Han Geng and Henry
They'd arrived late the night before and when they'd entered the house, Han Geng immediately excused himself to his room where he broke down into tears. He hadn't expected to feel quite so alone as he did now, his grandmother's house thoroughly empty. She had obviously chosen to pass on rather than remaining, and while he couldn't blame her for her choice, it still upset him.
Having cried himself to sleep, Geng woke early the next morning and stood staring out the open window at the courtyard of the house, watching his grandmother's neighbours tend to the garden. Every once in a while, a hand would wave at him or a face look up at him with sympathy, but they kept their distance, knowing he needed time to grieve.
Vaguely he thought he should probably let Yunho know they had made it ok, but before he could do anything about it, a knock came at the door and Geng knew who it was without needing to be told. There was only Henry in the house with him at that particular moment; his grandmother's memorial wouldn't be held for another few days in accordance with custom.

General mod post and reminder
Aug. 14th, 2009 07:25 pmJust a reminder of the following mod posts, to keep things fresh in everyone's minds. (and also for those of you who just missed them, for whatever reasons...)
Contact info post (members only)
Please make sure to put down some contact info so we can reach you for playing purposes (and for chats if you decide you want to...don't be strangers, hey...). It makes it really awkward when we need to get hold of someone and have no way of doing so. Please make sure your info's up to date if you have already added it.
Non-human details summary post
This is where you need to look if you're playing a non-human, just to make sure you have the characteristics and non-human racial powers properly set. This means no fancy stuff outside of that unless that's included in your actual power set. (ie no materialising unless you have teleportation as a power) If you're the first of your particular non-human race to play, you get to set the characteristics, so make sure to check out the post linked there to set those for everyone.
General odds and ends post
Some general stuff which will be added to at the end of this post. Please keep these things in mind while playing to make things easier for all of us.
Game play format additions
To make game play smoother for both readers and players, please make sure to read this post as well as the main game play format post.
Gang list
If you need to know who is in what gang, what 'race' they are, and what powers they have, this is the post to check. (will be updated in a minute or so *sheepish smile*)
-----------------------
Now for more general odds and ends that need to be addressed:
When you have a power that can/will affect another player, such as telepathy, precognition, empathy, etc., you MUST get permission from the other players you're playing with before commenting with something that describes how they are feeling (empathy), what they're thinking (telepathy), or what can/will happen to them in the future (precognition). It is considered god-modding if you don't and is not allowed without permission from players concerned. Please keep this in mind.
As stated above, make sure to check out the non-human racial characteristics post to make sure you are posting using the right details for your particular character's race. These characters are the same across the board, so no adding in fancy stuff that doesn't apply unless it's one of your powers as set out in the abilities list. (ONLY those powers in the abilities list may be used/applied for...)
When making posts that are in the future of currently active posts, please make sure to check what's going on in those posts, just to make sure there won't be any conflicts date-wise later on. If you are going somewhere and you make a post with someone else for the original place, please coordinate the dates for when you think your character is likely to have returned, and please do not make posts for longer than a week in advance of the currently open threads, no matter what the current 'real world' date is unless you have coordinated it with the other players you're playing with, as well as at least one (if not both) mod. This is the Reset-world time, not real life time, so keep that in mind.
Please make sure to keep your contact info updated so we can get hold of you if necessary. (post is members-only)

Private: RyeoWook and Henry only!
RyeoWook ran one hand lightly along the weathered bark of a tall tree, looking up into the rustling leaves absently. For a brief moment, he wondered what it would be like to just climb it, reach the top and gaze at the stars from the security of the thick branches. It was tempting, but he'd never been the greatest climber, and now was really not the time to fall back down and break an ankle. So he let go of the branch he'd grabbed with a soft sigh, wandering off the beaten path of the park and down into the shadows.
He'd been restless lately, watching the moon become fuller overhead as it did always, then slowly start to fade away again. It wasn't the first time, he wondered how Henry was fairing, if he slept at nights, if his nightmares still drove him to the point of insomnia. If only there was some way he could contact the other, but he knew he couldn't. The only thing comforting him was that Henry was safe as long as RyeoWook stayed with the gang, but as YooChun had pointed out, even that wasn't a security anymore.
Caught up in his thoughts, the healer didn't notice a shadow break away from the trees and follow him off the beaten path. Running his fingers through the shrubbery around him, he was caught off guard by a hand on his shoulder, jerking him around. One hand plunged into his pocket, pulling out his gun, but it was knocked out of his hand and into one of the bushes before he was slammed against a tree.
Slightly dizzy, RyeoWook drew in a shaky breath and looked up at the man holding him pinned against the tree. He opened his mouth to protest when cold steel against his cheek made him freeze. "What do you want?" He whispered, swallowing as he frantically tried to think of a way out. His gun was definitely out of reach, getting it would take too long... And his gift, he couldn't do anything if there was no way for his healing to affect the other. Without an injury, and he couldn't see any at all, he was useless.
"Just whatever cash you happen to have on you," the man whispered back with a grin. "Then I'll be on my way. Unless you argue of course." A light flick of the blade in his hand opened the skin of RyeoWook's cheek, a small cut. The healer tried not to react, ignoring the drop of blood slipping down his skin as the man patted at the pocket that hadn't held his gun.

Private:Yoochun and Yunho + Geng
Yoochun frowned. It had been his first time out of that damn prison they called a manor since the thing with the precog. He could have done anything, or gone anywhere within the city.
Why was he standing in front of Yunho's headquarters?
It had been a bit over a week since the angel had come looking for information on the attack against one of his men that he had carried out. For that entire week, he was unable to think about anything else.
It was with resignation that he realized that he might possibly feel a bit of something that may have slightly been around the area of what one might call attraction...
...or something like that.
"Well, I'm already here, so why the hell not?" he muttered to himself as he walked up and knocked on the door loudly, chuckling as he heard the echo even from this side of the door.

Private: DongHae and Mi
Mi stepped into the gardens, and almost of their own accord, his wings swept open to catch the rays of the sun. It was so nice to be outside; sometimes, he felt like the walls closed in on him.
He blamed the wings. They still felt very... foreign.
Taking a deep breath, he folded them half up, and began to walk.

Public: RyeoWook, and anyone who's interested
Casting the few others in the courts quick glances, the healer made his way over to the far end of the court, skirting around the edges of the room to avoid being noticed. It was about time he'd gotten some practice in; more and more often he was being sent on missions where he was expected to do more than just heal. It was only a matter of time before it happened again, and he was expected to kill. It didn't sit well with him at all, but he knew there was nothing he could do about it.
Facing the target across the court, RyeoWook looked down at the gun in his hands, after a moment releasing the safety and aiming at the human-shaped target. His aim still left something to be desired; although at least he could say he was finally hitting the board. He knew how to kill without a gun, without any weapons at all, but that relied on him being able to get his hands on his target and the victim already sporting an injury of some kind. He was alright with a blade, but if he could get fighting with a gun right, he wouldn't have to risk his neck in getting close enough to his target to use his powers.
Aiming carefully, he pulled the trigger. There was a bang, and the handgun thudded heavily into his palm, the impact causing his arm to jerk slightly at the last second. Instead of hitting the center of the target like he'd intended, the wooden 'shoulder' was chipped and cracked, the bullet buried inside it. A soft sigh came from his lips, as he reloaded the gun and took aim again, tongue peeking out of the corner of his mouth as he tried again.

Instead of hitting the center of the target like he'd intended, the wooden 'shoulder' was chipped and cracked, the bullet buried inside it. A soft sigh came from his lips, as he reloaded the gun and took aim again, tongue peeking out of the corner of his mouth as he tried again.
